Mangalek stores your personal reading data locally on your iPhone. Your reading progress (exact chapter and page numbers), personal favorites, search history, and settings remain within your device's sandbox.

To deliver up-to-date manga titles, cover art, chapter listings, and reading pages, Mangalek connects to cloud backend services (powered by Supabase). These requests are transmitted securely over encrypted HTTPS connections.

Mangalek may display non-intrusive advertisements served through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to support ongoing development and server costs. AdMob may process non-sensitive device identifiers in compliance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework and Google's Privacy Policy. Users who prefer a completely ad-free experience can toggle Ad-Free Mode at any time in the app settings.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or reading history to data brokers, advertising networks, or third parties.

Because your reading history and preferences are saved locally on your device, you have complete control over your data. You can reset your progress or remove all app data by uninstalling the Mangalek application.

Mangalek does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The application is designed to be safe for readers of all ages.

We employ industry-standard encryption protocols (TLS/HTTPS) for all communications between the application and cloud content services.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates or regulatory requirements. Any modifications will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
